Abstract

The success of the learning process is influenced by the ability to concentrate on the object being studied. concentration is an important aspect for successful learning, breakfast for students is very important because students need energy for learning activities. Therefore, learning can learn because glucose can improve a person's memory. Therefore, a good breakfast and a good diet can affect a person's level of concentration. Breakfast is the first food that provides energy for brain function in learning, especially concentration. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between breakfast, nutritional status and student concentration at STIKes PERTAMEDIKA Jakarta. Materials and Methods This study used a cross-sectional research design with 177 samples taken using the proportional stratified random sampling technique. The results of statistical analysis using chi-square showed that there was no significant relationship between breakfast and concentration of p (0.894) and no significant relationship between nutritional status and concentration of p (0.642) of students at STIKes PERTAMEDIKA Jakarta. It was found that there was no significant relationship between breakfast and concentration and there was no significant relationship between nutritional status and student learning concentration at STIKes PERTAMEDIKA.
