Abstract

Introduction: The medical procedure known as a cesarean section (SC) involves making an incision in the uterine wall and abdomen to deliver the fetus. The ERACS (Enhanced Recovery After Cesarean Surgery) method is a novel approach to cesarean sections. Patients profit from this technique in that they recover more quickly. Chewing gum containing xylitol, which can simulate chewing, is one non-pharmacological action that can speed up the patient's recovery, particularly in terms of enhancing intestinal peristalsis. This study sought to determine the impact of chewing gum on patients' intestinal peristalsis after cesarean delivery
